Atkins Business Services, Inc. has been providing business and tax services to the Colorado Springs area since 1993. Our vision is to:
George W. Atkins, CPA, MBA – President and Owner
George provides the professional accounting, budgeting, and tax preparation services. George is a Certified Public Accountant licensed by the State of Colorado (certificate #20291). His finance and accounting experience spans 30+ years which includes his U.S. Army service as well as private accounting practice. His IT experience includes systems analysis, problem solving and programming while working as a senior systems analyst and team leader for MCI/Worldcom.
George holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance and Accounting from Regis University and a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix. He is an adjunct instructor of accounting and taxation at the University of Phoenix, Colorado Campus.
Lynn Atkins – Bookkeeping Specialist
Lynn maintains the bookkeeping segment of the practice. He has previously co-owned a private security firm and served as police officer. He is George’s (older) brother and provides a detail-oriented approach to data entry.
Ingrid Atkins – Office Manager
Ingrid has worked as night auditor and front desk supervisor for a hotel for several years. She brings strong customer relations skills to the company. She also keeps the office organized and functioning smoothly. She has been married to George for 26 years.
